Office: Administrative Assistant / Receptionist

About the Job

We are a custom manufacturing company of folding cartons. Our facility is located in Mansfield, Texas. We have an immediate opening as an Administrative Assistant to support accounting and customer service in our office. This position also performs Receptionist duties.

 

The job functions and opportunities include:

  • Provide general administrative support to accounting and customer service departments
  • Serve as the company’s first impression with visitors through face-to-face and on phone interactions
  • Route calls, faxes, and mail to other office personnel
  • Maintain and organize filing systems
  • Perform three-way match with purchase order, receiver, and invoice
  • Enter accounts payable invoices into accounting software
  • Enter cash receipts into accounting software
  • Prepare time cards for temporary production workers
  • Enter job costing detail into ERP system
  • Maintain various financial, waste and costing analysis spreadsheets
  • Arrange freight for smaller shipments to customers via UPS, Pronto, etc.

Requirements:

  • A positive, team-player, customer-centric attitude
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • General knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is a plus
