Jenise Harris Cox graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University as a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematical Sciences. She started her career as a computer programmer at Bell Helicopter in Hurst, Texas, where she developed and supported programs for various engineering departments. After several years at Bell, she and her husband, Koby, decided to start their family. Jenise chose to leave the full-time workplace in order to spend more time with her young children. She continued to program part-time for a Dallas-based software company, writing applications for the telecommunication and banking industries. She continued this until joining Harris Packaging Corporation in June 2006.
Jenise started as the controller for Harris Packaging. In 2009, she became the CFO for both Harris and American Carton Company, and serves as the Chairman of the Board for the corporation. Jenise is responsible for the finance, accounting, human resource, and legal functions of the corporation. Additionally, she oversees the implementation and use of the company’s software systems.
Jenise is also a member of Comerica Bank’s Treasury Management Strategic Advisory Council. This council of business customers provides the bank with ideas and insights to improve technology systems for the Treasury Management Services area of the Business Bank.
